"Onward Christian Soldiers" or could we say onward peaceful, loving Christian warriors??

 I wonder which order of pics has nothing to do with today's theme ? or just go with the flow while i finally write to you while frustrated with the quirks of this new blog format... and have a little space in the inlaw's household... while I prograsstinate on the only blog and get nagged about my ole infinity tires touching dad in l's precious timber railing ...(when he parks his 1500$ bike against his daughter's 30k jeep... Hypocracy(??) or not?
I have a few minutes before these pics are uploaded before I write my every other poohbah/daily (should I submit that word for the Urban dictionary?)(which bloke looks most like me??),,, some might say the clean shaven fellow flexing his testosteroned muscles ready to kick ass in the surf swim race(??)
 Dad IL says the leaves coming from my shirt ended up in his dryer ..
my shirt was up on the line for a few days in the constant rain bu he claims that they are marijuana leaves from my shirt pockety..of course its been sitting outside under the falling autumn leaves for a few days of continuos rain!!)
and I thought about starting the title with"onward Christian soldiers marching as to WAR(??) (FROM WHAT KIND OF WAR??)...    DOES anybody remember that song from  pre ww2 days when my dad was going to Churchie (Church of England Grammar School) and they would sing that song at Sunday Mass
If some right wing fundamentalist started singing that song at the bible burning of the Moslem Koran  would the moslem extremist only become even more hate filled than they are now??
Was this what Jesus wanted or
for us to become Peaceful Warriors and only burn these books when there was nothing else to burn.;.
lets say , we were on the survival show, "Wild Man"....where u have to eat an do anything to survive??

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before.

Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;

forward into battle see his banners go!

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,

with the cross of Jesus going on before.
2. At the sign of triumph Satan's host doth flee;
on then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;

brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

3. Like a mighty army moves the church of God;

brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.

We are not divided, all one body we,
one in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

4. Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,

but the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
we have Christ's own promise, and that cannot fail.
5. Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,

blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.

Glory, laud, and honor unto Christ the King,

this through countless ages men and angels sing.

Bells (?)

it's a shame that religion has bred so much hate in this world and appears that most likely  it will be our Armegeddon (whenever that is like right christians negatively obsess over....
  the right wing tea party(who call themselves christians) and these right wing fundamentalist Moslems are both fanatical to the point of severe apocolypic violence.... from burning holy books to skyscrapers
all is in the name of their religion and hate mongering
Now Donald (duck) Trump with his blonde combover makes an offer (probably on his blackberry while watching the pretty girls play the quarterfinals in the US OPEN) to buy the building where the Mosque will be for 25% more than the investor paid for it about a year ago... He wants to show everybody how he can make a financial spectacle of himself being the hero.. of course the greedy investor wants it for 4x the value...
25 million (??)... so everybody is getting involved in this stupid spectacle that only exagerates the hate that is perpetrated by the media!!

does anybody wonder why I want my son to grow up in Oz??

I thought what could be more appropriate to  my own concerns for the fate of this nation when blokes like Glenn Beck rule the air waves of Faux News appealing to the right wing fundamentalist expectation of Armageddon and to impose right wing kristian fundamentalism on this declining country.
"But there is a Beckian twist in his version of the prophecy. Unlike the church leaders' versions, Beck's vision carries the possibility of a bloody end. On the night of Feb. 24, 2009, Beck outlined this prospect for his viewers. People who "don't trust the government," he said, would "see the government as violating the Constitution, and they will see themselves as defenders of the Constitution. Not a good mix. Then they take matters into their own hands."

It was Glenn Beck in a nutshell: White Horse Prophecy meets horsemen of the apocalypse."
