Irish Fest in KC!

Read, enjoy, and feel free to leave comments but please keep the personal cuss words to a minimum. Thanks :)

This is a very rough draft and often I feel like a loser esp if your best friend calls you that WHEN I couldnt find my cell phone! Yes, thats right that I dont have a job and at this moment in time, Im not ready to go back to biggest worry is not having socialized medicine and not having a good major medical (that would be solved if I got off my gluteus maximus and filled out some apps for employment)...
but I want to enjoy myself on the short time that I have on this planet in the body that I am in now...
thinking that there is only such a finite time and that nothing is permanent...after 9/11 Im sure that many of us are scared of the future and about nothing permanent esp if we have another 4 years of this president who uses religion to steal elections! (DONT GET ME STARTED!)
this is a very rough draft, so dont worry about the incomplete sentences, Jae! :(
(to be continued and edited)

Now I need to get out of here before I get complaints from Muffys darling daughter that Im here! :(

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush ranked in the middle of his Air National Guard flight class and flew 336 hours in a fighter jet before letting his pilot status lapse and missing a key readiness drill in 1972, according to his flight records belatedly uncovered Tuesday under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Pentagon and Bush's campaign have claimed for months that all records detailing his fighter pilot career have been made public, but defense officials said they found two dozen new records detailing his training and flight logs after The Associated Press filed a lawsuit and submitted new requests under the public records law.

"Previous requests from other requesters for President Bush's Individual Flight Records did not lead to the discovery of these records because at the time President Bush left the service, flight records were subject to retention for only 24 months and we understood that neither the Air Force nor the Texas Air National Guard retained such records thereafter," the Pentagon told the AP.

"Out of an abundance of caution," the government "searched a file that had been preserved in spite of this policy" and found the Bush records, the letter said. "The Department of Defense regrets this oversight during the previous search efforts."

Bush's Vietnam-era service in the Texas Air National Guard has become an issue in the presidential campaign as the candidates spar over who would make the best commander in chief. Supporters of Democratic nominee John Kerry, a decorated Vietnam combat veteran, have criticized Bush for serving stateside in the National Guard. Kerry's Republican critics claim Kerry did not deserve some of his five medals.

Bush has repeatedly said he is proud of his Air National Guard service. White House spokesmen said as late as last week the administration knew of no other records of Bush's military service.

"These documents confirm that the president served honorably in the National Guard," White House spokeswoman Claire Buchan said Tuesday night.

The newly released records show Bush, a lieutenant in the Texas Air National Guard, ranked No. 22 in a class of 53 pilots when he finished his flight training at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia in 1969.

Over the next three years, he logged 326.4 hours as a pilot and an additional 9.9 hours as a co-pilot, mostly in his the F-102A jet used to intercept enemy aircraft. Of the 278 hours he flew in the interceptor, about 77 hours were in the TF-102A, the two-seat trainer version of the one-seat fighter jet.

The records show his last flight was in April 1972, which is consistent with pay records indicating Bush had a large lapse of duty between April and October of that year. Bush has said he went to Alabama in 1972 to work on an unsuccessful Republican Senate campaign. Bush skipped a required medical exam that cost him his pilot's status in August of that year.

Bush's 2000 campaign suggested the future president skipped his medical exam in part because the F-102A was nearly obsolete. Records show Bush's Texas unit flew the F-102A until 1974 and used the jets as part of an air defense drill during 1972.

A six-month historical record of his 147th Fighter Interceptor Group, also turned over to the AP on Tuesday, shows some of the training Bush missed with his colleagues during that time.

Significantly, it showed the unit joined a "24-hour active alert mission to safeguard against surprise attack" in the southern United State beginning on Oct. 6, 1972, a time when Bush did not report for duty, according to his pay records.

Bush's lone service in October was outside Texas, presumably with an Alabama unit he had permission to train with in September, October and November 1972.

As part of the mission, the 147th kept two F-102a jets - the same Bush flew before he was grounded - on ready alert to be launched within five minutes' warning.

The records also show Bush made a grade of 88 on total airmanship and a perfect 100 for flying without navigational instruments, operating a T-38 System and studying applied aerodynamics. Other scores ranged from 89 in flight planning to 98 in aviation physiology.

The newly released records do not include any from five categories of documents Bush's commanders had been required to keep in response to the gaps in Bush's training in 1972 and 1973. For example, National Guard commanders were required to perform an investigation whenever any pilot skipped a medical exam and forward the results up the Air Force chain of command. No such documents have surfaced.

To some it may sound nice and even comforting to hear speakers give forth regarding a nation laying down its arms in order to hug the world. That’s the litany of John F. Kerry and the Democratic Party. Hardly do they realize that such dogma spells their own doom as well as the doing in of all the rest of us if Kerry comes into executive power.

This existence is not the heavenly state of perfection. This is a spiritually damaged world. Sin abounds. Evil prances in the streets. And some mortals, created in the image of God but determined to live out the plot of the devil, seek to murder and maim.

Democrats and like ilk conclude that we are on the edge of heavenly bliss, if only they come into power. If they would run the show, then the global community would kiss our cheeks and embrace us to their hearts. This is truly a mental disorder of the most dangerous sort. It is also a theological miss of the grandest schemes for self-destruction.

Wisdom would have us remain prepared to overcome those creatures who plot the devil’s game. Wisdom would have us put the enemy on watch. Wisdom would have us stand up strongly, ready for the foe, rather than assume the enemy’s love for us when his intent is to wipe us from the Earth.

Kerry would have us wilt on the vine. He would preach a gospel of pacifism that’s nothing other than sheer pansy weakness at its most crippled level. Pansy pacifism does not a mighty nation make. Pansy pacifism opens up America’s shores to those creeping killers who delight in watching our blood make rivers of our streets.

United States President George W. Bush knows that Kerry’s pansy pacifism doctrine is the start of the nation’s demise. That is why Mr. Bush remains loyal to the republic’s strength, regardless of that old-fashioned patriotism being anathema to the politically liberal press. Yet Mr. Bush does not budge in his convictions. He believes in his own inner vision of a stalwart democracy, never compromising its power for a Kerry unreal world.

Mr. Bush dares to call evil evil. He speaks of tyrants as tyrants. He points to the brutality of the globe's despots. He reminds the world of the 9-11 terrorists' dare. He, as a caring parent, warns the country that such horror could be repeated if the nation lets down its guard. Mr. Bush stands on guard. He watches the nation's gates. He calls out to the enemy to withdraw forever, cautioning that attacking freedom's way will spell disaster — not for America — but for those who despise America.

Americans who value their daily liberties will fall in line behind the President, pledging full support. Citizens of this country who realize the urgency of overcoming the foe will never renege, never give up, never sell out the nation's soul for a pansy pacifism. Reality will rule. Vigilance will remain intact. And America will remain alive and well.

It is stupefying even to contemplate Kerry in the presidency for that tragic misstep would surely invite terrorists to take full advantage of the liberal panacea. It would not be long after Kerry would sit himself in the Oval Office that global killers would set their sites on every corner of this country, fully intent on crumbling everything that our forefathers set in place for a forever-democracy

    John Kerry

Seven mansions, including one in Washington DC, altogether worth multi-millions.

Law Enforcement. I voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. I ordered Boston to remove an ugly fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire.

I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from
the military and from service in Vietnam (as documented by the attending doctor).

I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted all returning Vietnam vets by claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw "my" medals, ribbons, or something away in protest?. or did I? (John still has his medals framed in his office... he actually threw away someone else's medals) My book - Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier - shows how I truly feel about the military.

I graduated from Yale University with a low "C" average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor did I graduate from anywhere with an MBA.

I ran for U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real-world experience except for marrying a rich woman and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa.

As a US Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against their budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself. I also supported the Torricelli Amendment that stopped the CIA from using human intelligence against terrorists and terrorist states, so that we are now effectively a decade behind in this effort. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation that I came across, becoming on record the Most Liberal Senator. I have no plan to help this country, but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected and am sure we will find ways to spend your money.

My personal wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make no or little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in Massachusetts, despite a family wealth estimated to be between $700 million and $1.5 billion.

I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make more profit off of the cheaper cost of labor in those countries, although I blame George Bush for sending all of the jobs out of country.

Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I opposed windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts.

I ride a $7500 Serotta bicycle. My $30 million Gulfstream V private jet I call The Flying Squirrel. I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scaramouch". I am fascinated with rap and hip-hop and feel it reflects our real culture.

I also own several "large" SUVs, including those parked at my Nantucket and Vail summer mansions, though I am against large polluting inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for the energy problems.

  4. wow, Bubba! That is an impressive resume! Lets see yours! Make sure you use spell check.
All you Republican rednecks can do is attack with negative crap when you cant defend Bush for his years Awol in Alabama and having his Dad help him through Harvard just like he has Karl and Cheney tell him what to say in his very poor speaches that are filled with lies! He starts putting on his affected Texas accent to impress ignorant Bubbas as yourself especially when hes lying!

  5. Main Entry: hy·poc·ri·sy

    Function: noun
    Inflected Form(s): plural -sies

    Date: 13th century
1 : a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not; especially : the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion

Bush loves to give the appearance of being born again and Christian so he can get the fundamentalist vote, no matter how poor these church goers are!

2 : an act or instance of hypocrisy
