Escape the Okie Zone

this a personal creative non-fiction journal about a traveler and his evolving life. He saw the waning warmth of humans through his puppy's eyes and now he see the world through his child's eyes. He thought much of our country's warmth went dormant when Bush held our country hostage! Some of my hostile readers suffering from overinflated egos might actually think that I might be writing about them on this blog! Get a life please ;)

News basturds angry over making fun of Ms. Piggy with lipstick!

Thank God this country still has freedom to ridicule future Nazi leaders of the Neonazi Party!
If they have their way, the right wing media will only allow neocon endorsed comics...they have been having a fit because there are not enough jokes about Obama compared to Palin and McSame...

O you realize how scary things could be if Mcsame gets elected..
this lady with the lunatic eyes behind her Tina Fay endorsed glasses
is only one heartbeat away from controlling this country
then comes the police state run by her deputy pit bull dogs with or without lipstick
where torturing for information is endorsed at the sake of "saving innocent lives"

My muse and I were watching "Rendition" on Dvd last night...
Meryl Streep plays this neonazi character who is another power hungry bitch to the shades of
Lucretia Borgia (the famous poisoner of renaissance times for this very powerful medieval Italian family) I almost feel Palin would be worse than this character in her quest for power and control of the country while doing the bidding of the unknown puppet masters of the neonazi (neocon) party!!!

" I'm Prolife and Progun??" Palenface says in her Oxymoronic voice!

Right wing sites like Newsbusters love Palin and hate the hollywood that produces these "liberal " movies that will only be coming out in more frequency since the neocon scare tactics have worn out...

Newsbusters says MSNBC " played the SNL skit seven times!"
ooooh, boo hoo
Palin is even an easier target than Dan Quayle, Ford, or maybe even Dumbest leader of the dwindling free world, Bush!

How many times did these assholes of fox snooze show the lipstick on a pig spot from obama when it had nothing to do with the dumb bitch....
did fox show all the times Mcsame said "lipstick on a pig"?
hmmm....

how does one say selective memory
what about selective reporting??

Faux news decides what is fair and balanced for the ignorammusses of America who would love to believe this FASCIST CONTROLLED GOVERNMENT is actually both Christian and conservative...
Imagine the Republican image of Jesus coming back in a gas guzzling bubbamobile with 6 behemoth tires, a rifle in the gunrack, and Bush/Cheney bumper sticker replaced by McSame and Palenface for 2008!

MSNBC Plays Palin SNL Skit Seven Times, Mostly Ignores Obama Parody
By Lyndsi Thomas September 29, 2008 - 18:36 ET

With the vice presidential debate only a few days away, MSNBC gave a lot of attention on Monday to what Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin are doing to prepare for their one and only debate. Along with this, MSNBC also gave a lot of airtime to Tina Fey's "Saturday Night Live" parody of Palin's interview with CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric, showing clips of the skit seven times between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. However, only Morning Joe featured "Saturday Night Live's" parody of Senator Barack Obama, and even then the focus was on the portion of the skit which parodied Senator John McCain's "gimmicks."
Of the seven times that MSNBC showed clips from Tina Fey's Palin impersonation, many of them lead into discussion about Palin's lack of foreign policy expertise and comments about how Fey's impersonation could lead to negative effects for McCain's campaign.
Story Continues Below Ad ↓

Joe Scarborough, host of "Morning Joe," called the parody "devastating," and Willie Geist got in a little jab of his own on Palin after he showed a clip of the skit which ridiculed her opinion on the proposed $700 billion bailout, saying "she looked a little lost there, guys" and later adding, "I'm not sure she quite answered the question there."
Also, during MSNBC's "News Live," host Contessa Brewer asked, "Is this something that the Palin camp is worried about, this image problem that she doesn't know foreign policy?" Tamron Hall also brought up this negative image of Palin and wondered what the McCain camp was doing to counter any negative effects it might have on the campaign. Hall also worried if it is "fair that Joe Biden might be held to a higher standard" in Thursday's debate.
Transcripts of the segments follow:
# Morning Joe, 6:38 a.m.:
JOE SCARBOROUGH, host: I want to show him a clip from "Saturday Night Live." Mike, take a look at this.
AMY POEHLER: What lessons have you learned from Iraq and how specifically would you spread democracy abroad?
TINA FEY: Specifically, we would make every effort possible to spread democracy abroad to those who want it. Katie, I'd like to use one of my lifelines.
POEHLER: I'm sorry?
FEY: I want to phone a friend.
POEHLER: You don't have any lifelines.
FEY: Well in that case, I'm going to have to get back to ya!
SCARBOROUGH: Oh, no. Mike Barnicle. That was a devastating parody, was it not?
#Morning Joe, 6:55 a.m.:
WILLIE GEIST: Let's go back to Tina Fey and Sarah Palin. It was just a relentless assault on Sarah Palin to open the show "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday. Just coming off the interview with Katie Couric, the CBS interview this week, they recreated it their way. Amy Poehler as Katie Couric asking Tina Fey as Sarah Palin about the bailout. Here's Sarah Palin's answer.
AMY POEHLER: What's your opinion of this potential $700 billion bailout?
TINA FEY: Like every American I'm speaking with, we are ill about this. We're saying, hey, why bail out Fannie and Freddie and not me? But ultimately what the bailout does is help those that are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy to help, um, -- it's got to be all about job creation to, also to shoring up our economy and putting Fannie and Freddie back on the right track and so health care reform and reducing taxes and reigning in spending 'cause Barack Obama, you know.
GEIST: She looked a little lost there, guys.
#Morning Joe, 7:56 a.m.:
WILLIE GEIST: Time for some news you can't use. As I've just mentioned, a busy night upstairs, eighth floor. "Saturday Night Live." They started with Sarah Palin. They rolled out. They were spoofing the Katie Couric interview with Sarah Palin this week. Amy Poehler as Katie Couric. Tina Fey reprising her role as Sarah Palin talking about the bailout package. AMY POEHLER: What's your opinion of this $700 billion bailout.
TINA FEY: Like every American I'm speaking with, we are ill about this. We're saying, hey, why bail out Fannie and Freddie, and not me? But ultimately what the bailout does is help those that are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy to help, um, -- it's got to be all about job creation, too. Also, too, shoring up our economy and putting Fannie and Freddie back on the right track and so health care reform and reducing taxes and reigning in spending 'cause Barack Obama, you know.
GEIST: I'm not sure she quite answered the question there. It went on like that for several minutes there. Tina Fey again nailing Sarah Palin.
#News Live, 9:11 a.m.:
TAMRON HALL, host: Plus the vice presidential debate. You know it's about Sarah Palin versus Joe Biden. But what about the Palin versus Tina Fey debate?
AMY POEHLER: You went to the U.N. for the first time. How was that experience?
TINA FEY: Oh, you know, it was just amazing. So many interesting people. Though I have to say I was disheartened by how many of them were foreigners. I promise that when Senator McCain and I are elected we're gonna get those jobs back in American hands.
#News Live, 10: 39 a.m.:
CONTESSA BREWER, host: And I know that there was this interesting moment on "Saturday Night Live" with another spoof of Sarah Palin. Play it and talk about it on the other side.
TINA FEY: Oh, you know, it was just amazing. So many interesting people. Though I have to say I was disheartened by how many of them were foreigners. I promise that when Senator McCain and I are elected we're gonna get those jobs back in American hands.
BREWER: And they were joking about Sarah Palin and her reaction to her visit to the United Nations. Is this something that the Palin camp is worried about, this image problem that she doesn't know foreign policy?
#News Live, 11:19 a.m.:
TAMRON HALL, host: Sarah Palin is coming off a bit of a rough week headed into Thursday's debate. First she was widely criticized for struggling through an interview on CBS. And then she was skewered for a second time Saturday Night Live.
AMY POEHLER: What lessons have you learned from Iraq and how specifically would you spread democracy abroad?
TINA FEY: Katie, I'd like to use one of my lifelines.
POEHLER: I'm sorry?
FEY: I want to phone a friend.
POEHLER: You don't have any lifelines.
FEY: Well, in that case I'm just going to have to get back to you.
HALL: But could low expectations actually help Sarah Palin heading into this VP debate? And on the flip side, is it fair that Joe Biden might be held to a higher standard?
#News Live, 11:44 a.m.:
TAMRON HALL, host: But I want to talk to you, Savannah, about this parody on "Saturday Night Live." People are talking about it. The impersonation and what this could mean for the election. Let's take a look at it.
AMY POEHLER: I want to give you one more chance to explain your claim that you have foreign policy experience based on Alaska's proximity to Russia. What did you mean by that?
TINA FEY: Well, Alaska and Russia are only separated by a narrow maritime border. You've got Alaska here. And this right here is water. And then that's, up there's Russia. So we keep an eye on them.
HALL: So, Savannah, we know these politicians watch SNL. You remember when during the debate, Hillary Clinton brought up the SNL skit where she was kinda being treated improperly by the media. But let me ask you about the McCain campaign. What are they doing to fight this image that now is all over YouTube, all over the place and people at work talking about it at the water cooler right now?

http://www.historycommons.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=neoconinfluence

it is scary what is happening to this country look at the timeline...If Obama wins, the neocons will do everything to take over the government and force it so they will only have the neocon party!
Elections will be a mockery and there will no longer be true elections in this country!

FEMINAZI HIRED BY NEOCON BRAIN TEAM TO BE FUTURE WORLD LEADER!

"Sources in the McCain camp, the Republican Party and Washington think tanks say Mrs Palin was identified as a potential future leader of the neoconservative cause in June 2007. That was when the annual summer cruise organised by the right-of-centre Weekly Standard magazine docked in Juneau, the Alaskan state capital, and the pundits on board took tea with Governor Palin.[…] A former Republican White House official, who now works at the American Enterprise Institute, a bastion of Washington neoconservatism, admitted: “She’s bright and she’s a blank page. She’s going places and it’s worth going there with her.” Asked if he sees her as a “project”, the former official said: “Your word, not mine, but I wouldn’t disagree with the sentiment.” http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2008/09/15/project-for-the-neoconservative-palin/

I wrote this on newsbusters and was banned TODAY!
The newsbusters site appears to be just an appendage of Fox News.
This fascist site will not accept the facts about neoconservatives and how they have taken over the Republican party... They will always be in denial of any facts that take them from rationalizing their ideology
They have an obsessive desire for world dominance but will never admit it and say fuck you to any other countries that are in their way...
as bush jr. said, "you're either with us or against us!"
That is the belief of this lunatic site of circle jerk right wing rednecks and rascists
Blonde happens to be the worst of these OCD people who never leave their favorite political site
almost as if they are camped out all day so they can respond to every liberal post....
these nerds and nerdettes never leave the computer except to feed their fat faces of glee when they pat each other on their redneck asses,
brown nosing each other more than energetic brown gerbils would!

this crazy lady has apparently looked me up and found out about my work at school and even told everyone on the site my name
whenever I, or any liberal left of these right wing nazis make a comment on newsbusters, she especially or one of her circle of friends gives their victim ad hominem attacks
while of course never coming up with anything worthy to the debate ...
It reminds me of this crazy right wing lady from Denver named Jules who comes into http://www.hereinreality.com/ only to insult liberals
I actually visited this crazy hard old maid
after she sent me a picture that must have been taken 10 years before and when the fat ass was 10 kilos lighter ...she actually looked attractive...and then I saw the poor fat wench with an expanding deriair
she also loved to give it out but couldn't take it
She had a fit when I made fun of Bush
Jules has the same neurotic ocd personality of the crazy bitch, Blondie, who hides behind her circle jerk of friends on newsbusturds
whenever anyone returns her round of insults
her circle jerk of friends such as rd helms or clear thinker come to her defense and hypocritically say
"How dare you insult the matriarch of our site, Blonde!" tdf...the site is hilarious
apparently she only made me upset when she made fun of my job and the handicapped children that I teach...
she won't say her job...probably gives head to Mathew Sheppard or the other idiot who's often on faux news, Brent Bozo Bozell...
apparently they must have helped her do cyber searches to find out who I was...
I hadn't left any comments for about a year and decide to check out the site for a laugh so I left a comment...
she immediately calls me by my name almost as if threatening to blackmail me because I teach special needs children... It's funny how these right wing assholes love to scrutinize teachers...while they hang out sneaking looks at the computer instead of working (and we wonder why we our country is in the economic position it's in now??)
trickle down economics doesnt work while the ceos give each other huge salaries
then we poor workers have to foot the bill!
It is scary with these people when they have a little power...Here is how this loon, Blonde describes herself:

"Used to be "Justa Blonde", until a lib poster pre-empted that little bit of silliness. Native Floridian, UF Gator to the bone, big-game fishing aficianado, scuba diver, techno-trash reading raiser of orchids. Professional cat-herder for a Fortune 500.
And that handsome fellow in the picture is Rolex...a full blooded Arabian who enjoys tossing me on my (you know) every chance he gets when we visit the beach."
(maybe she is mixed up with the Arab oil...funny for a dumb ignorant redneck )

This "lady" continues to piss off liberal readers of the site including myself when she cyberstalked me and exposed my name on the site
she then made fun of the handicapped children that I have taught...but I guess on this site, I can expose her for the bitch that she is...she can say anything she wants because her circle of friends will always come to her aid ,
http://www.newsbusters.com/ has an even more obvious double and hypocritiucak standard than Faux News!
she is probably one of those bleached out peroxide blondes with several face lifts with skin dried
out like a prune from the Florida sun!
the movie,"Something about Mary" was probably thinking of her when they were producing the hilarious film! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0129387/

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb-staff/2008/09/28/open-thread#comment-730323

She wrote this...and the site allows it, but liberal get banned for far less!

September 27, 2008 - 23:08 ET by Blonde
You are so yesterday.
"Neocons" went out about a year and a half ago....right about the time you got booted.
You might want to do some reading and catch up.
You sound JUST like a stupid Aussie teacher of handicapped kids (the only ones who wouldn't realize what a moron you actually are, LOL).
Australia!!!! Free your children from the HayesBat!

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/p-j-gladnick/2008/09/27/newsweek-mccain-won-will-it-matter#comments
This is one of the typical rednecks of this site ....read the above comments of the reader and you will see how racist the american repukes are still here
It only allow liberals who are meeker than the very mild Colmes on the very right wing show Hannity and Colmes on Fox News. I had to only make a comment sparingly so as not get banned again...Now that I have access , I have been writing about the neoconservative movement with them hiring Mcsame and Paleface to the neocon party!
Palin and McCain are obviously puppets of the Neoconservative party! They figure MCCain could croak at anytime.... It would be very scary with the Palin pit bull dog with lipstick as the head Nazi in charge!

I always figured why they hired someone dumb like Bush for the Neocon party so they can be trained and told what to do..

I hope that these right wing neocons eventually read this site ...
they need to be exposed just as Fox news was exposed on the documentary, "Outfoxed"

Wow...Washington DC immediately looked up my site a couple times!

It's funny how I saw how Palin as a puppet for the neocon movement and now Huffpo
is writing about what I was talking about !! We are heading for a police state controlled by this very powerful think tank put together by the very rich and powerful of this country and other power mongers throughout this country!

Thursday, September 18, 2008
Wow…we have been here now since Tuesday the 2nd….now its 16 days….
A little contact with Jane, my cousine, they are preparing their flat next door for rental
next door as they prepare the flat next door for renters

not giving in to the desires that would never be consummated
I see the scenery on the beach,
I do not give into my id's desires…
I put my brain onto another level
I still have so much to do to prepare for our future and our family…(is it better when I know that I am writing this to someone ??)
…almost preferably an audience while time slips by from hours to days to weeks to months to years…
I wish that I had the internet for my connection to the rest of the universe
And the waves outside in my backyard keep crashing….
I need to write about Nimbin and the changes that are happening to this little formerly almost utopian hippy community and other places though out the world,
while concentrating on just this little hippy community nestled into the borders of the dwindling rainforests of Oz…
starting to get into my vacation mood especially when we are traveling…
But my costs go up significantly….182 bus, 240 for four nights of accommodation , 50 pizza, 70 for bud, beer 20$, 150 for food and 50 for misc….

but our honeymoon becomes an endless summer, as we leave the Indian summer of the Rez
for the warming waves of oz
and the increasing sunlight of oz…
then we come back again for the American summer…
what a rough life!
Might as well make our babymoon enjoyable...
we deserve the happiness and comfort of a beach environment...
and a water birth!!

September 25,2008
Okkk…..a little bored, feeling that there is the whole world out there that I very often feel like Im missing out on…
We walk hand in hand and then I know she will let out the string
knowing that I will not stray too far..

I write some poetry..
She is my copilot to the stars and
We are finally here ....
only A buzz away ,
we were in Tohatchi,
and the previous month; the foothills of Akansas…
We imagine and finally take all the necessary steps to get out of here
It will be expensive to live together , bringing up a child, while I need to take the necessary steps to get a job, loosen our strings to the Northern Hemisphere
and eventually migrate out family to Oz!!….
We have begun something and I need so badly to follow through with our dreams
…both of our inherent desires are to stay lazy
while giving into our id urges for food and comfort…
It would be just as easy to take a nap…
and prograsstinate
Why fight the current?
let's go with the flow for a while…
and just swim along the shore
waiting for that beautiful wave to take us into
our beautiful sandy
Mermaid Beach!

I am upset that I cannot talk to you , my audience,
I want to know that my words will be out there in the cyber space immediately!!
I think about that and then feel the rush of the Pacific Ocean blowing into my upstairs windows…and look across the sea
knowing that is where I just arrived from less than a month ago…
Time is flying by so fast…we sleep in till 9 am and then get around to getting milk and pastries for 10$
I could have bought all that for only a buck 30 years ago while hitching around New Zealand…
$2 was the cost of a hostel…You could buy milk and butter for 20 cents, and a loaf for 10cents…
Aahh , those were such sweet innocent times…
My older brother, Ron and I were just about to enter the workforce…
Both of us had this innocent Naivette…
It was a world long gone in another time….
it was almost another existence
even animal life going on was 99 percent different!!
The whole energy of the world was different feeling it as a child of the sixties with no clue of what our future…
We just had an innocent feeling of immortality….that old age would never happen….

September 26, 2008, 8:52 AM
Wow..still hard to believe we are here in Oz…good day, especially after we got through talking to Telstra and the frustration I had to go through in order to get the internet as cheaply as we could…
Frustrated that my new mother in law, Diane, immediately wanted to chat with her daughter not wanting to see how her son in law was doing...oh well
Happy about finally doing it and hearing Angel take care of business with John Flynn..I will have to probably pay up front out of Pinnacle money…
Happy that I walked down to pacific fair and picked up microwave…walked it back with some staring and wondering my own lifestyle almost proud not to be dependent on a car and petrol!! That evil black gold that has caused so much death..
Happy that I went for a good swim and saw all the beautiful sight from my backyard playground…

September 26, 2008, 8:52 AM
Before I pass out from narcolepsy, I need to chat with you and share a bowl while reflecting on the thoughts of today and how good forces won out despite the horrendous up front medical costs…
I was almost wishing to be independent thinking of the headaches about arranging the medical coverage for our family…
I had to realize that I was going to pay for everything up front…
about 4k for the 3 day hospital stay and wonder where the feelings of labor would happen
Angel wants the epidural to deal with the pain but I hope she will go ahead with the water birth and see how wonderful it will be with the baby born into the water surfacing for air
The water feels like the womb and the feeling for him is much more natural
I am getting darker than I have in a long time…
I am finally here…I look out and feel like I am at the top of the earth instead of down unda…It has been what I have been waiting for all my life…

It really frustrates me about how so many things are a racket including, the cost of phones and the internet...
There are only a few companies who control these services so we pay outrageous amounts for talking to you...$2 for 21 minutes and a buck for ketchup (they call that tomato sauce!)
It is cool not being slave to autos the way everyone else is....but my wife and I have to do lots of walking..but it is possible ...walking a mile along the beach road and stuffing a huge amount into our backpacs...
soon we will bikes to travel everywhere and can survive!

wow...it's great to finally say hello again after our trip to Nimbin...I will write more when I have access at home ... so many things to

Tuesday, September 16, 2008

Wow....we just came back from NIMBIN, one of the few former havens and worshiping places of the wonderful euphoric weed!! It is the Amsterdam of the southern hemisphere..
Unfortunately, Bruce Lyons is the area drug controller for this mostly agrarian community...
there have been noticeable changes since my last visit in July of 2006
then cops looked the other way when cannabis cookies were sold freely and openly on the street...
The cops have multiplied like rabbits did when they were let loose in this weird upside down island...
originally, there was only one officer of the peace back in the Aquarius Festival of 73(Boy, I wish I came here to live just after I graduated in 73!)
and now there are 9
with two doing a daily walk through both sides of the street making sure to check out all the alleys where the 24 hour newly surveillance cameras don't reach the eyes of our Aussie Big Brother, Bruce lyons...
today an aboriginal was being harassed by the pair of police...the aborigine eventually walked away,,,the native to this land was very loud speaking of the police being pigs
Id like to know the whole story so anybody please free to leave a comment to fill our readers in??
We have had the most wonderful time in this once and future utopia
a fading Camelot from the ideals that they were founded still blossoms in the winter sun of the ever populating planet....

I visited the Hemp Embassy in this cool alternative. They had a movie about the history of the town. I'd eventuhtally like to do a documentary, and more chapters on the hippy movements that that have settled in different spots of the world....

http://www.hempembassy.net/hempe/TGeorge.html
I assure the people of Nimbin that they are no different from the people of any other town of this State. Police cannot condone activities that I have witnessed and that have been reported to me. I remind this section of the community that they have no exemption from the law applying to activities they want to undertake. On Saturday the annual Mardi Grass will be held at Nimbin. There seems to be an attitude among this certain section of the Nimbin population that they have an exemption from the application of the law. (that's what I had thought from previous visits) This attitude has been evident for a few years and these people seem to think that because they have continued their campaign over a period of years, they are condoned. They cannot understand why suddenly there are problems associated with their activities.

Well, I only have 5 minutes to chat with you. I've had about a liter of instant coffee to help us focus out of the hostel and avoid getting distracted by the other cool young travellers!
We are off to Nimbin to try some of their famous cannabis cookies. We have been warned not to eat the whole cookie, except my muse won't indulge....
Both of us are scared about the new reality facing us but it's exciting at the same time....while trying to save money, yet still enjoy...
Byron has it's beautiful light house from the most western point, but it's too hard for Angel to walk up...
I only have about 5 minutes left at this kiosk, so I'm hoping that my 3 or 4 readers will tune in again when I have my own access to the net on the 19th....

Serendipity is Byron Bay

I'm finally on the net again here at the hostel in Bryon Bay. Reality is setting and the wonderful feeling that I will be a Dad soon. We will see life all anew from the eyes of our child. I finally was able to enjoy a little herb with some young hostellers from Germany. Young travelers are so friendly ...I was explaining to him how becoming a father can totally change your outlook on life.

We are about to enjoy a dinner here at the Backpacker's Inn. It is so beautiful here. We just walk a little through the minijungle and there is the most gorgeous beach. Both of us stay here for about $70 and you can borrow bikes for free and especially be in the company of young folks from all over the world. The food we are about to eat smells great. Hopefully, I will enjoy a little more herb before I talk to you some more!

We are finally here in OZ!! It won't be until the 16th until we have internet access in my home in Oz...Everything is at least 2 to 3 times as expensive here especially vitamins. I'm here again at the newly built Gold Coast library. I have swam and surfed in the Pacific in our backyard while Angel walked along the beach. The strong current carried me faster than her walk. It was cool experiencing the storm. We are both still recovering from jet lag but so happy we were not turned away at the airport. It is almost surreal being in another continent again while getting used to sleeping when you yanks are awake and vice versa. It is like Superman visiting the Bizarro world with everything the opposite. Folks are driving on the wrong side of the road and the toilet go the opposite way.

I cannot get into my email in the library so I have no clue about my car and anything that is going on thousands of miles away in the states! I just hope that everything will be ok, but we are finally exhaling knowing that we made it here and it did not seem like it would ever happen!
A new reality while fatherhood still looms on the nearing horizon!

Wow…we are finally on our way to OZ… I couldn’t believe that we could do it…there are still some loose ends to tie up such as disconnecting Direct Tv, putting the rip off phone service, Sprint, on hiatus, and then putting our cars on the storage plan by sending our affidavits in!…
I was never rushing so hard to make the deadline of our 7pm Amtrak ride to LA! I dawdled around as usual because my love was asleep till noon ( we were up late trying to organize our clothes)
Today I was not knowing where to start as I attempted to shove everything from the last 3 years into my Infinity! It was almost embarrassing, us struggling packing and throwing as much crap away as I could…shoving everything into garbage bags from the living room, kitchen, bedroom , bathroom and closets and drawers! Still we could do it all by the 630 deadline so I gave $40 to my friend Karlos to give to his son to finally take everything out of our abode and vacuum the place!….
I was panicking worried that someone would see the mess that I had left , especially papers with my blog !
Even though we are not working, I’m still desiring the anonymity not ready to expose my stoner habits..
(the train has just stopped in Flagstaff for 10 or 15 minutes …the nicotine addicts are allowed off tov increase their risks of lung cancer, but who am I to pass judgment when I like a little herbal smoke)
It will be hard to finally accept the reality of having the clear Pacific in our back yard to cool off our tired toes!!! Then the reality of becoming a father will start to really sink in. Colin Murray (we are still not positive of the name) but everybody loves the sound of Colin!! My father was a great man and I hope our son will carry on the family destiny in Oz!! We will finally be able to relax and exhale when I get my dual citizenship if I can get all the necessary paperwork and documents sent in!
It will save us about 900 a month for our major medical! And we can establish residency so that I don’t have to pay this outrageous 15k land tax each year!!
Well, I can’t sleep on the train, so I’ll let my Angel snooze and stretch out on the two seats…I can’t get the internet now since there is no signal, but I’ll chat with you a little while until I feel tired..probably all the addaboy I took to stay focused on getting our shit together hasn’t completely worn off..
My sweetheart is so happy now that we are finally off…She would often cry thinking that we weren’t going to get off the Rez and would have the baby here
We were feeling so overwhelmed with everything and she sensed my feeling too…
She wanted to know that I was confident that I would be able to take care of everything…
It is difficult having all that responsibility and then to think we will have a child soon, too…just that thought is enough to feel overwhelmed without thinking now we can spend our baby moon on a budget ..
This summer we have continually met each of the challenges to be able to go live in Australia…
Finally after Karlos and his Phillipine mate gave us a ride, we encountered one more obstacle that freaked us out…. The train conductor had no knowledge of us reserving the train…both of us immediately thought we wouldn’t make it to Australia…fortunately, we were able to get a hold of Amtrak and were relieved to know that we weren’t going to be dumped in the next stop, Winslow, Arizona, having to find our way back to the Rez with only a day left as far as rent! Cool now we have the internets again and I’ll send this out to the photosphere! By the way, thank you LA, for the sweet comment about how our child can now have the option of dual citizenship just in case the country continues to go in it’s downward spiral with the Neocons and all of those ugly bastards on Fox blues with the surface Britt Hume leading the sniggering of any actions of any liberal they can find some moral turpitude…Fox pretends that is the news , but then you see ugly asshole Hume, chuckling anytime there is a mistake from the other side of the right wing… And this leads a fair and unbalanced talk show…ROFL!
September 1, 2008, 12:26 PM in Oz and almost 8pm LAX time…we will be there early tomorrow morning! I cannot believe we will be on the beach!! It is finally happening with all the challenges that we have had to face…
This time arriving early to the ticket counter, Qantas couldn’t find our reservations because somehow my credit card didn’t go through! They never contacted us and Angel was very traumatized .ss
So we showed the email and after a few hours of fretting and oriental food to soothe our nerves, I went there and finally got the tickets. They also had put in the wrong birth date for sweetie and then the name change from marriage help up the visa people who didn’t know which person she was….
Then after patience with Qantas, I got our tickets! Hallelulah! And I just discovered that we have free internet in the LAX lounge while we wait another 4 hours for the plane…The only issue (which is kinda big) is many of the passengers take off their shoes, so there is an air of skunky feet permeating through the lounge…I think some of the travelers haven’t showered in a while…
Even Angela’s mom was all paranoid and wanted us to email her or call once we are on the plane…I can enjoy the net until Narcolepsy hits…
