I always encourage well written comments that don't get too personal and have cuss words.
Here is your comment and I have separated it into different parts so that I may respond more effectively to your thoughtful comment.

"Garvald
I have not been on your site for a quite a few weeks, but your comments are very discouraging. Why do you always refer to Republicans (or as you say "Re puke licans") as mind numbed, ignorant, simple minded people? There are over 300,000,000 people in the great U.S of A. How can you say that 150,000,000 USA citizens are all ignorant? How can you say that Okies are all "Red Neck"? "

Niles,
Why don't you criticize Jeff Foxworthy for him making fun of "red necks"? Or is it ok because he uses a southern accent and acts like he is one himself? It is the thoughtless judgmental behavior that I have a right to write about and you have a right to respond without violence and hopefully avoiding the ignorant comments that some of the other "Bubbas" have made.
There are many conservative Republicans that are intelligent and some that are not clouded by their very fundamentalist thinking. I admire Pat Buchanan for not being a Stepford robot and writing a book about the "Neo Conservative" called "Where the right went wrong!"
He does not sound like Rush Limbaugh and the others that want to bash liberals and say mindless comments like they are friends with Hillary and Ted Kennedy!
I feel that we are bombarded with right wing media and there is hardly any alternative to listen to on the radio except for NPR which gives fact rather the administrations sound board, "Fox News". I am glad that Pat Robertson who is an ardent fundamentalist disagreed with Bush's very impulsive move into Iraq. Up to the point of disagreeing with Bush, he was on the Bush side. I admire folks that really look for facts on the net or library, and make it a point to make their own decisions instead of Rush, Bush, Fox propaganda, or the "Daily Disappointment" making it for them.

"Most of the patrons at Hudstone's have advanced degrees and are professionals."

I thought, Niles, that you told me that you do not hang out or know the folks at Hudstone's??
I appreciate that they are professionals. It is only the folks that chose to become angry, violent and thoughtless that I address. When some people drink a lot, some people become loud and violent.

"They have experienced skills in both life and personal experiences. How can you say Okies are "Red Neck" when most Okies are not from Oklahama? How come you assosiate all people that you meet in OKC, that do not agree with you, as "Red Necks"? How come you are spending so much time trying to figure out who is mad at you instead of figuring out why they are mad at you? Evidently this is not just a problem at just Hudstone's, but at other places too."

Apparently, you have been wanting to hear gossip about me from other places. I am flattered.
I do not waste time wanting to figure out who is mad at me unless they make violent threats.
That is serious and obviously shows their lack of intelligence. That person is according to my definition a "redneck".

!"Why do you edit my responses so you can address only the questions or comments that you choose? My last question is, why do you think, or assume, that everyone that disagrees with you is either a NAZI, a rich person, or a Replubican? I will just let you know that I am a very well educated 33 year old Cheese Head transferred poor boy that lives here now. I am not a Red Neck. I just make educated decisions.
Niles "

I appreciate the fact that you have written very well educated responses and you deserve the label of "replubican" or conservative rather than just an ignorant redneck that chooses to stay ignorant. Thank you for the comment. Maybe after the elections, I can buy you a beer, if it is safe to do so! Please do not be angry with me when Kerry wins!

Jeff Foxworthy is a southern comedian that successfully pokes fun at his OWN experiences and upbringing. He is not a yankee making southern jokes. He is not a white guy making black jokes. He is in his element. Where I have a problem is when a guy goes outside his element and bitches about the people that are in their own homes (elements). Why do you go out of your element: make comments that piss people off: and then get upset by their responses? I will put this very simple. You are very, very insulting to people that you talk to, and to people that overhere you. There is a very big difference between having an intelectual (sp?)conversation about politics, and pushing your politics on an unwilling recipient. You seem to tell people that you hate OK and the Republican Okies (no , all Okies). You need to find your utopia. This world is not the perfect world, but I would never want to live in another part of it. If you want to go some place else, go for it. Don't stay in the same place and do nothing but bitch about it. Go where you are happy. Also, you do not need to buy me a beer because BUSH IS STILL THE (MY) PRESIDENT!

I am in my element. I have lived among rednecks with them being my neighbors or the folks that I meet on the streets. I have a right to complain about voluntary ignorance. Renecks are not a minority. They are a majority in Oklahoma and many are intimidated by them for the past 100 years of redneck intimidation of minorities. Is it an unwritten rule for comedians not to make fun of what they are not???
Rednecks, corporate rich Americans, and fundamentalists make fun of liberals. They are much more of a minority.
It is very scary what is happening to this country.
We are heading for a corporate dynasty and corporate empire for the rich to have tax cuts to help them get richer.
The poor will be working for lower and lower wages compared to the wealty. Karl Rove ran an excellent strategy for this campaign. As long as this is a free country, while our liberties are gradually eroded, I will continue to write. You do not have to read this, Nile, but I appreciate your interest in this site. I hope that you are happy with what is happening to this country.

I only chat with people that are willing to discuss it.
I will talk at a location where it is safer from violent rednecks or those that want to be heard instead of wanting to listen. There are many places that are havens for intellectuals and free speech. I will look for those places. In the meantime, I am a homeowner and I do have a right to exercise my rights to bitch about injustice.

"You seem to tell people that you hate OK and the Republican Okies (no , all Okies)."

I dont hate all Okies. I realize that many are just misinformed or closeminded. There are a lot that are good people. I have made many friends, but it is sad that one of the poorest states will continue to make the schism between the rich and poor greater. YOu will let yourself be screwed to your job like an indentured servant or "slaves" were to the general store of the farm that they were "working" for.

I will look eventually for another place to live. In the meantime, I will keep my home that I have had for over 20 years. This is my one refuge when all else fails in this declining empire.
    Bush is not the president. He is the corportation run by Karl Rove. The administration with Fox News as it's mouth piece will become ever stronger and repeat what happened to Rome with one emperor (corporate president);
read history Niles about what Alexander Hamilton wanted to happen with this country where a few rich people would govern the whole country.

Niles, you are the most intelligent Republican that I have conversed with and do appreciate intelligent discourse. I am sorry that you have so much anger towards me. Apparently, you know who I am in person from others at Hudsons. You originally had told me that you did not go Hudsons or know the folks there. You were doing a search and found my website. You chose to read it.
I will not go to a place where there are not violent threat towards me. Some of you want to silence me, but this website is showing free speech and that is the beautiful thing about this country (unless that freedom is taken away like Rove intimidates the press and tells all the white house staff to wear hunting jackets to make fun of Kerry)
They are not liberals! How dare them make fun of something that they are not! (I waS just mirroring your own behavior)
Have a great day and maybe one of these days you will let go of your anger and animosity towards liberals.
I might cut and paste this comment to make it a regular post.
