Jack passed me the bong.....

I had a fantastic time in the land of schwag.
In visiting with fellow schwagers, we are discovering collective consciousness. Another friend and I conversed about the whole collective thought of “Rainbow Gatherings”. I was even more inspired to continue with the writing, realizing, my stream of consciousness could be like James Joyce or Jack Kerouac "passing the bong of conciousness"

(Muffy is now rolling her eyes at this insanity
while the Bohemian family that has befriended me, supports this creative outlet)
(Now she wonders who is this family??
And he tells her’
“Its none of your business”)
"no worries, mate ...u ain't my boss :)"

I am looking for what spewed out of Jack Kerouac when he was in his most creative 21 days, moving from one cup of Java to another in “greasy spoons” throughout the country.

Garvald will do the same in his own Garvaldian style meeting other schwagers and schwagstocks,
moving from one bong to another bong,
as he meets these tribes offering the peace pipe of love , harmony, postive vibes, tunes and acceptance...

the state we all can achieve if we let it happen .... (to be continued...take a cup of J or a hit of the bong..ur choice)

excerpt from "Star Trek":

"Picard refuses to co-operate, and the Borg forcibly assimilate him. But unlike other drones, he is given a distinct identity LOCUTUS OF BORG. Locutus provides the Borg with a single voice and a representitive that other races can deal with.Despite the Borg`s best efforts, part of Picard`s distinct individulity remains intact deep inside Locutus. When Data gains access to his mind. Picard is able to tell him how to access the Borg`s collective conciousness and stop the attack on Earth."

WE MUST ACCESS THE BUSHS' COLLECTIVE AND SAVE THE WORLD!

  1. INDIVIDUALITY AND THE BORG
The Borg draw their strength from their collective natures and regard individuality as a weakness.
Under normal circumstances, their minds operate as one, and the drones have no sense of an independant identity. The only Borg for whom this does not seem to be true is the Borg Queen.
When the Queen first meets Data she tells him, "i am the Borg." As he points out, this is a contradiction - it is equilalent to saying "I AM WE." The interrelation of the Queen with the rest of the collective appears to be a paradox, "she is the one who is many." In practice she appears to be the embodiement of the Borg collective. Her individuality is the manifestation of their oneness, she controls the Borg drones, by they contribute to her being.
No other Borg is known to have this measure of individuality, but on occasion the Borg have recognized that other species find it easier to deal with an "individual" spokesperson. In 2366 Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D is captured by the Borg collective. The Queen tries to persuade Picard to give himself willingly to the Borg. She knows that by allowing him to retain a degree of individuality, the Borg will be able to bridge the enormous gulf between the collective and humanity.
Picard refuses to co-operate, and the Borg forcibly assimilate him. But unlike other drones, he is given a distinct identity LOCUTUS OF BORG. Locutus provides the Borg with a single voice and a representitive that other races can deal with.
Despite the Borg`s best efforts, part of Picard`s distinct individulity remains intact deep inside Locutus. When Data gains access to his mind. Picard is able to tell him how to access the Borg`s collective conciousness and stop the attack on Earth. In 2374, the Borg use another drone as a spokesperson. The collective is under attack by Species 8472, and Captain Janeway offers to help them develop a biogenic weapon in return for safe passage through Borg space. With their typical disregard for individulity, the Borg intend to temporarily assimilate her. But she refuses and, remembering the example of Locutus, asks them to provide a single drone to act as a representative of the collective.
The Borg choose a drone who was once a human female, she ios designated SEVEN OF NINE, TERTIARY ADJUNCT OF UNIMATRIX ZERO ONE. Seven is the mouthpiece for the collective, relaying information to the rest of the Borg and recieving instructions from them telepathically. It is not until she is separated from the collective conciousness of the Borg that she begins to regain a true sense of individuality.
It is clear that many former Borg do not welcome the idea of individuality. For them, it is a painful experience that makes them weaker than they are as a unified collective. Seven is not the first Drone to be separated form the collective. In 2368, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D rescue a damaged Borg, THIRD OF FIVE, from a crash site. They take him back to their ship and sever his neural link with the Borg, immediately, the drone begins to regain a sense of individuality, but Third Of Five finds it extremly difficult to cope with this. He is used to hearing the vioces of thousands of Borg inside his head, and is disturbed by their absence. He was probably assimilated at a young age and has no understanding of how individuals relate to one another.
Develpopment of the drone`s individual development progresses rapidly, Chief Engineer Geordi La Forge gives him the name HUGH and he begins to use individual pronouns such as I and MY instead of the usual collective vioce and pronouns such as WE and US. Hugh begins to understand that certain species do not wish to be assimilated, and perhaps most importantly, he expresses a desire to remain an individual rather than return to the collective.
However, Hugh still values the safety of the whole over his individual freedom. When the collective threatens the Enterprise, he returns to the Borg to protect the crew. When Hugh rejoins the Borg collective conciousness, his mind transmits his new sense of individuality to the other drones in his hive. The "infected" Borg effectively shut down. They still share a neural link, and can hear one another`s thoughts, but their collective conciousness has been shattered. Instead of hearing a unified vioce, they hear thousands of distinct vioces, each of which has it`s own ideas, it appears that this group are severed from the larger collective to prevent further infection.
The Borg cannot cope with the chaos that is generated by thousands of linked minds, and in this state they are suseptible, the android LORE finds them and offers to make them completely aritificial, and they are so desparate for leadership thta they follow him. Lore attempts to lead the drones against the Federation, but is defeated, and this group of individual Borg are left to deal with the problems caused by their individuality without his "help".
In another incident, a group of Borg lose their collective conciousness when their cube is damaged in an electrokinetic storm. Their neural generators are damaged, severing their link to one another.
This group of Borg also regain a sense of individuality and relocate to a nearby planet. These former drones are not forced to deal with one another`s thoughts, but without their collective conciousness to unite them, they soon decend into chaos, as petty rivalries and preudices overwhelm the colony. Some of the former Borg find that individuality is so dangerous to them that they choose to re-establish the neural link, and surrender their individuality to a new collective conciousness. Unlike the Borg "infected" by Hugh, they appear to act with one mind.
It appears that a former drone is most likely to ajust to individuality if he or she can be guided by others who are used to an independent existence. When Seven Of Nine is first seperated from the collective, she is desparate to return to the Borg. But Captain Janeway`s guidance, she slowly begins to ajust, although she finds it difficult to integrate herself within a group, she never hesitates to say what she thinks, and has no idea how to interact socially. She may have been human once, but she has a long way to go before becoming a true member of the community aboard the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-
